Lost Coast Historical Patterns Co. has been supplying costumers needs for over 5 years. I have over 20 years in and around costuming. Whether you are just starting in costume or have been doing it for years, there is sure to be something here to help you with your creations for personal or theatrical use.

Some of the items we carry are unique to costuming needs and specific. This takes a lot of searching. Please ask for samples if you are unsure if something will work, but don't wait too long, some items are a one shot only deal. Many of our mills and other manufacturers are shutting down in this economy.

About The Patterns

Patterns for historical and fantasy costuming fulfill different needs and requirements for each period and skill level. I have gone through the patterns and I have researched the use of patterns by real time costumers. By looking at instructions in each pattern, I have given indications as to which level of sewing may be required. The levels are : Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. However, there are no hard and fast rules. We all have a unique approach to our passions for costume and the arts.

Returns Policy

YOU MUST CONTACT US WITHIN 30 DAYS OF PURCHASE!

We take returns for store credit unless the item is defective. If your item is damaged in shipping, please contact us for a return within 48 hours of receiving your order.

PATTERNS ARE NOT RETURNABLE

Returns are very limited on the following items: Hair Pieces,Cut Boning,and yardage goods.

Please note: If you order online and don't provide accurate phone numbers, email address, and addresses, this may delay your shipment. If I cannot get a hold of you when there is an issue with your order, it won't get there on time!

We ship to the USA, CANADA, GREAT BRITAIN, AUSTRALIA, and NEW ZEALAND. These are the countries we have the most success with and get packages to in good order. To process an order, send an email to "info at yahoo.com" and include your shipping address. All overseas orders are done via PayPal. Packages will be weighed and an invoice sent. DO NOT PLACE ORDER THROUGH ONLINE SHOPPING BASKET. All overseas payment is through PayPal, billed manually. If you wish to charge, print out and send the hard copy order form.

Please Note: Shipping overseas for many items must go Priority International and start at $24.00 US. Hats or hat frames may not weigh much, but it is the size of the box. Hats are shipped UPS Ground.Shipping to Canada in hat frames may require extra postage.

You must pay shipping prior to your order being sent.

We can ship US Mail, UPS, and Fed Ex Ground at this time. Overnight shipping is NOT POSSIBLE in our area. Please contact in advance.

Shipping is handled via First Class/USPS priority mail by default. Express Mail takes 2-4 days, Priority mail will take up to 4 or 5 days delivery to the East Coast, but in most cases takes 3. For larger, hard to handle items, like bonnets and hats, we send these UPS as they have a better record with getting it there in good order and at the best price. Shipping fees by US Postal Services have made it so that 13 oz bumps to Priority Mail. Paper is heavy. Many of the patterns have a lot of heavy paper.
